Funding & Scaling
On May 9th Furthr hosted the first in person Funding & Scaling in 4 years!
The event assists Irish start-ups and scaling companies with securing funding by sharing the organization’s three decades of expertise. Since its inception in 2016, Funding & Scaling has supported hundreds of businesses.
If you’re an entrepreneur who’s struggling to obtain funding for your business idea or need help scaling your existing business, Furthr’s Funding & Scaling event series is an excellent resource for you. These events offer valuable insights such as exploring funding options, learning from successful founders, discussing funding opportunities, and receiving advice from investment experts and fellow entrepreneurs.
Our September 13th morning session was an excellent insight for founders who gained knowledge from investment experts and founders who are on the journey of scaling their business.
Session 1: Meet the founder providing safe, effective & natural products to comfort children when they are unwell – Sinéad Crowther, CEO and Co-Founder of Soothing Solutions (Tonstix) in conversation with Martin Murray, Furthr Interim CEO.
Session 2: ‘Funding opportunities in a down cycle’ investment panel with Drew O’Sullivan, Lead Equity Advisor at InterTradeIreland, Barry Brennan, Venture Partner at Elkstone Ventures and John Phelan of Furthr’s Investor Network.
Session 3: Zipping to the finish line, from start-up to acquisition in three years – Charlie Gleeson, Founder & CEO of Zipp Mobility in conversation with Martin Murray, Furthr Interim CEO..
All followed by networking and light refreshments. We hope to see you at the next Funding & Scaling, date to be announced.
