Everly, founded by Orla McDonnell and Laura Downes, is revolutionising event planning and gifting with its cutting-edge digital platform. Inspired by the complexities of traditional wedding planning and gift-giving, Everly empowers engaged couples with an array of innovative tools. From creating personalised wedding websites to seamlessly managing guest lists and sending digital invitations with built-in RSVP tracking, Everly streamlines every aspect of the wedding planning process. Additionally, Everly will offer a sophisticated gift registry featuring selections from luxury retailers and renowned travel companies, allowing couples to curate their dream honeymoon experiences.
This forward-thinking approach has caught the attention of industry leaders Sharon Harney and Dawn Conway of Cassidy Travel. Through this collaboration, Cassidy Travel becomes Everly’s exclusive partner, enabling couples to effortlessly plan their dream honeymoons while friends and family contribute to these experiences. This exclusive partnership will launch on July 26th.
Complementing these features, Everly will integrate innovative fintech solutions to give couples enhanced control over their wedding finances. These advancements will streamline expense tracking, budget management, financial insights, and payment processing, supporting couples in planning their weddings, a day that can cost anywhere between €25,000 and €50,000. Additionally, Everly aims to streamline the handling of guest cash gifts, offering a modern alternative to traditional registries. By pioneering these technologies, Everly seeks to set a new standard in wedding planning, providing clarity, confidence, and ease for couples navigating the financial aspects of their special day.
While Everly is starting with the wedding industry, its adaptable technology is poised to expand into other life occasions and gifting events, making it a versatile solution for various celebrations.
Everly was a participant in TU Dublin New Frontiers Accelerator programme and also recently secured €100,000 from Enterprise Ireland through the Pre Seed Start Fund (PSSF). Furthr supported Everly throughout their PSSF application process under the GoFurthr programme.
The company’s leadership team is set to be significantly strengthened by the addition of serial industry entrepreneurs Ruth Larkin and Fiona Nagle to the board. Ruth Larkin, Managing Director of Lark Bridal Ltd. and Larkin Consultancy Services, brings nearly two decades of experience in founding, scaling, and supporting international businesses across diverse sectors, including manufacturing, fashion, distribution, and technology.
