Dublin, 19 November 2024: Dublin is this week hosting European business leaders for EBN Techcamp 2024, taking place at the Guinness Enterprise Centre (GEC), Dublin 8, from 19-21 November. A key theme for this year’s event is exploring the profound impact digital transformation and AI can have on supporting business innovation centres, their start-up clients and associated investors.
The European Business and Innovation Centre Network’s (EBN) Techcamp provides an annual platform for networking, collaboration, and co-learning for businesses. EBN comprises 97 certified (and 20 satellite offices) EU Business Innovation Centres (BIC) and 59 associated members from over 37 countries. The four Irish Business Innovation Centres (BICs), comprising AxisBIC, Furthr, Propelor BIC and WestBIC are all active members of the EBN network.
This week’s sold-out event is being co-hosted by Furthr, Ireland’s leading business innovation centre, and is bringing together European Union Business Innovation Centres (EU|BICs), science parks, investors, incubators and accelerators to explore how artificial intelligence (AI) and digital technologies are transforming business ecosystems and supporting entrepreneurship.
This year’s Techcamp will provide a unique opportunity for business support organisations and innovation professionals to experience lively keynotes, dynamic workshops, thought provoking panel discussions and networking opportunities focused on AI’s disruptive impact, digital transformation, and sustainable innovation.
The event will also explore AI’s role in key sectors such as healthcare, green energy, gaming, and public-private collaboration, offering valuable insights into how digitalisation is reshaping industries and driving business growth.
