Charlie Gleeson is the founder and CEO of Zipp Mobility, an Irish e-scooter sharing company currently operating in Ireland, the UK, and Poland.
Furthr began working with Charlie in 2019 as he was first establishing Zipp Mobility. Charlie and his team were seeking support for early-stage funding, and Furthr was there to assist them with their application to the Enterprise Ireland’s Competitive Start Up Fund. Upon successful CSF funding, Furthr continued its support with pro-bono consultancy in developing a business plan, pitch deck, and a strong financial model to be shared with potential investors. Furthr also helped Zipp Mobility secure funding from the High Potential Start-up fund from Enterprise Ireland.
Since 2019, Charlie and Zipp Mobility have gained some serious momentum in their field. They have raised more than €2m in funding, and currently have plans to scale their operations into more European countries, as well as increase staff from 25 to 35 by the end of 2022. Furthr’s consultancy with Charlie and Zipp Mobility is ongoing.
