Founder: Deirdre Lyons
Deidre Lyons is the founder of Examfly, an education technology start-up that seeks to disrupt the market in professional skills and training, beginning with subjects like tax and accounting.
Deidre’s initial engagement with Furthr began in 2019 when they began collaboration on an Investor Memorandum, which lead to development of the business proposition. Examfly successfully obtained funding from the Enterprise Ireland Competitive Start-Up Fund. From this, they began participating in the Innovate Programme, the female-focused accelerator programme managed by Furthr. Furthr’s assistance included support in areas such as branding advice, product development, route to market, scaling and investment opportunities, along with support in writing Examfly’s business plan.
Within eight months of completing the Innovate Programme, Examfly had signed multiple major clients, and launched the platform in early 2022.
